new-church-headerNew to Church?

Welcome! Whether you've just moved to the area, or have lived here all your life, we hope our website helps you to find out everything you want to know about our Church.

Key information about the church ...

Where & when does the church meet?

We have a variety of Sunday services to choose from:

  • 10:00am, Perry Street - a large and lively service with lots of groups for children and young people, including a crèche
  • 10:00am, Thynne Road - a smaller, quieter service
  •   7:00pm, Thynne Road (monthly) - generally a more intimate service with contemporary worship

Aim to arrive 10 minutes early to be able to park and seat in time for the service to start.

Our morning services at Perry Street are usually live-streamed. You can watch them live or catch up later from our YouTube channel

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer any questions and show you to where you need to go. There will be a mix of singing, updates on things happening, people speaking about what God has been doing in their lives and an opportunity for church members to pray or read a passage from the Bible. One of the leaders at the Church will bring a message based on the Bible and there will be a chance to respond at the end of the service.  Prayer is also available at the end of the service.

Tea, coffee and biscuits are served after the service where there is plenty of time to meet new people and ask more questions.

What happens for the children and youth at church?

We have a fantastic programme for children and youth at Perry Street:

  • Creche (0-3 years)
  • Beginners (3-5 years / Preschool & Reception)
  • Kingdom Kids (5-11 years / Yr1-Yr6)
  • Delve (11 years / Yr7 +)

Children stay with their parents for the first part of the service and someone will announce when the children need to go to their activities. If it is their first time you will need to go with your children to register them.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under Church Life.

Is there a dress code?

No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all! You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
